Yes, Olympia, Washington. We were staying with Fr. Athanasius and Anna Shaw and their family. They're old friends of my parents.
Realllyyyyyyyyyyyyyy? How did I not know this? While the mission isn't my home parish, I do sometimes attend and would love to meet you the next time you come this way! We could talk books, sigh!
Aw, man! I knew you were in WA, but I thought you were closer to Seattle for some reason. Well, hopefully another visit will work out.
I try to not be *too* specific in my location discussion, so I can definitely see how the impression was given, and my parish is in Tacoma.
I understand, believe me. Especially on a public blog.
